Seller's Note/ Queen Gepaepyris (say that 3 times fast!) was the wife of Aspurgus and the sister of Polemo II. While her husband was in Rome, hanging out with Caligula, she struck coins in her name for only two short years. Her issues are very scarce. Only two (same issue as ours and both have been highly tooled) are listed in Wildwinds.

Our coin shows zero tooling, perfect wear, complete and easy to read legends, and a lovely portrait of the queen. This coin could not be improved in any manner.
