God Bless me, but I am a very lucky man, indeed!

None of these pix have anything to do with Ancient Coins...but after all, this is my shop and I can do what I want!

This is my dedication to the love of my life, Sheri Sandes. Through all these years she's stuck with me through thick and thin...and not only managed to put up with my travel wanderlust, but added her two cents, as well. From sea-kyaking off Kodiak Island, Alaska, white-water rafting the U.S. rivers and exploring ancient Maya ruins in Southern Mexico and C.A. and the ancient Inca ruins in Peru, to scuba diving the Caribbean Sea and the Southern Pacific islands.

During that time she's been bit, stung, and envenomed by more more criiters, bugs and plants than I can count...and never a whimper. Not even the time she got hit in head by a bat inside a Maya ruin! She did get rather enraged when she slipped and fell on her ass deep within a massive cave in Yucatan...and I laughed. A huge mistake on my part. Sorry honey...never again.

Either way, I am blessed to have such a soul-mate. Collecting ancient coins is a great hobby...but my suggestion is that, in the meantime, you travel and explore our world while you have your youth; go to exotic locations and get out of your box! Forget about sea cruises or Europe; you can do both in a wheelchair. Imagine a glorious sunrise over Guatemala, the sunlit volcanos rising above the clouds, or the mists rising and falling over Machu Pichu, Peru...or even breakfasting on a river valley in Belize, listening to the mournful calls of howler monkeys while flocks of parrots soar overhead and toucans feed in the giant fig tree just a few feet away.

This is just about Sheri, the love of my life! Click the pix for more photos...
