During our adventures, Sheri and I have seen some very interesting signs, murals, etc. Presented here for your amusement are a few of them. One of our favorites was a hand-painted sign by the side of a dirt road in southern Belize that read: "Plane in Tree" with an arrow pointing left. Unfortunately, I lost the photo. But we did see the plane in the tree! Anyway, enjoy these pix! Remember to click each photo for more!
#1 - "Drinking is Fun...Try This!" Caye Chalker, Belize - Pop. 350. We shot this on the side of a liquor store; we doubt that you'll ever see an advertisement like this in the US of A. ;-)
#2 - "Danger! Low Flying Aircraft!" Grand Turk Island, Carib. Huh...? Are we supposed to duck or what? LOL!
#3 - "Welcome to Kosrae" Kosrae Airport, Micronesia. No further comment necessary, huh? Just too funny!
#4 - "Spider Monkey" sign, Belize Zoo. Simply take the time to read the entire legend and you'll understand. 'Sucks, no true?' LOLROF!
#5 - "Preventing is Better than Lementing!" Again from Belize, this sounds like very good advise, eh?
#6 - "Super Discount Store" More from Belize, this is your 'One-Stop-Shop' in San Ignacio.
#7 - "Send Worm Samples Immediately!" Last one from Belize; we have to agree with the sentiment, but the image of the cow's ass is just a bit over the top. LOL!
