Brooch, Silver Brooch Fragments, c. 2nd-3rd Cent AD

Ave!

A Duo of Silver Brooch Fragments, c. 2nd-3rd Cent AD

Silver; each at c. 25mm and 7.3gm/5.2gm

In the photo, left to right is a KF-style brooch and crossbow fibula. The latter displays lovely scroll-work intaglio. Both are small and we surmise they were worn either by ladies or childern from a wealthy Roman household.

Were these two brooches complete, each would list for over $100. This is an excellent opportunity for you to add a pair of beautiful silver brooches, broken or not, to your collection for a very low price.
