After close to 60 years under the 'iron boot' of Rome, and despite Jerusalem's newly cobbled roads, schools, hospitals, aquaducts, baths, libraries, safe to travel bandit-free roads, freedom of worship and Roman law, the Jews were still unhappy; and they decided to revolt against the Roman Empire. A huge mistake...eh? The Roman emperor Titus ordered that the Jews should be put down...and it happened in a torrent of blood and death. But, during those fleeting years, the Hebrews struck coins of their own. Too little and much too late...

Seller's Note/ These coins are rare and certainly of historic importance. Good coin at a great price!
