Seller's Note/ Roman celators are not noted for their depictions of women. In the case of our coin, the celator perfectly captured the profile of young Julia Paula in a sweet and charming style. The reverse depiction of Concordia is simply elegant; note the folds of her drapery. Julia Paula issues are always scarce/rare as she was empress for only one year before she was divorced by Elagabalus and stripped of all titles.
