One thing that never fails to disappoint me every time is TRUE PREMIUM! This lot contains a variety of coins from larger to smaller sizes, but all of them are VF with some cleaning. I will buy them again and again. Excellent!

Review of my latest purchase from NRC: True Premium Uncleaned Roman Coins I ordered 25 coins; after some preliminary cleaning all had details showing. The following is what I found so far: Domitian AS/ Sestertius; Antoninianus: Philip I fully silvered, Tacitus, Gallienus, Numerian; Maximinus II "FIL AVGG" rated scarce; several Licinius I "IOVI CONSERVATORI" types, one rated rare 2; Constantine I "SOLI INVICTO COMITI" rated rare 5; Crispus "VLPP" rated rare 4; Constantine II "VLPP" rated rare 4; Constantius Gallus "FELTEMPREPARATIO" with "LXXII" reverse rated scarce; and a Caracalla denarius, contemporary forgery. The rest includes more AS/ Sestertius types and more Constantinian types, haven't gotten far enough along with cleaning yet to identify them. Overall a good lot with a good mix of coins with quite a few rare items included. As usual customer service is excellent with fast shipping. Thanks Kevin!

Highlights from my last few lots of True Premium Coins: A fairly good mix of Radiates, some Tetrarchy and Constantinian with a few later. Better items included Tacitus from Lugdunum/ Lyons; Salonina from Rome mint (Double struck); Vetranio from Siscia AE2 "CONCORDIAMILITUM"; Valentinian I with double struck legend on obverse and finally a very rare coin of Constantine I not in RIC with an unlisted bust type (K3). Information on this coin was found in "NOT IN RIC" and shows a previous sale of $625! Thanks to Kevin for the awesome customer service!

5/5 for seller communication. Kevin was very friendly and quick to reply to emails to help with everything. 5/5 for coin quality, these coins are much better than premium coins I have bought from other websites, the patina is nice, the minting is very deep with details sharply exposed. The coins are dirty but it is clear to see that features are bursting to come out, and they will be very nice pieces when cleaned up. 6/5 for value. I don't think there is a better deal out there for high-quality uncleaned coins.

Great experience with these coins. Generally, you will receive a mix of larger 4th century coins and many mid to late 3rd century antoninianus, occasionally you will find something from earlier. In my last lot I found a fantastic Aurelianvs with nearly fully intact silver! It was difficult to clean and took a lot of patience which made great fun. I also found a Probus with similarly intact silvering but nearly all blackened and beautiful. These are some sweet coins. I generally use a bamboo skewer, then needle in the pin vice sold here, switch to the diamond dremel tool in the vice, and throughout use the fiberglass pen before waxing (Also lots of soaking in DW).

True Premium coins are always a fun grab bag. You will get a variety of coins mostly antoninianus and reduced size follis in my experience. Sometimes you get a silver coin, I got a Philipus in my last purchase, and an Alexander Severus denarius a while before that. The coins will most often be in great shape even if they are solidly coated in mud, just be patient! As far as the As and Sestertius go, my experience is that they will be very worn and hard to read but, in my opinion, $6 for one of those is worth it. I would say that 7 of 8 coins will be good to great. BUY THE FIBERGLASS PENS.
